USI Payroll provides Workers' Compensation Premium Maintenance and Claims Risk Management to our clients regardless of their level of service (Basic Package requires USI Insurance Solutions be agent of record).
Workers' Comp Premium Maintenance
We have two options to help you better manage your Worker's Compensation Premium so you are not burdened with a hugh audit year after year. Our sister company, USI Insurance Solutions has Pay As You Owe Solutions for some industry types including Hospitality, Artisan Contractors, Builder Material Dealers, Restaurants and Medical. Pay As You Owe Solutions can be written for these industries assuming you do not have a Premium Modification over 1.4%. Pay As You Owe Policies require a minimal down payment and only charge premium based on actual gross payroll.
If you do not fall into one of these industries or if your Modification is too high, our second option is Premium Escrow. Through our premium escrow service, we calculate premium per pay period and charge it as part of your invoice. We hold that money in escrow until your monthly bills are do. Regardless of if your estimated payroll was under or over estimated at the start of your plan year, we will be collecting exactly the amount due. By paying your premium on actual payroll dollars each pay period, your cash flow will increase and these will remove large audit premium at your plan year end.

Claims Risk Management
